NMLA Formation
After the housing and financial crisis of 2008, Nevada markets were left devastated, including the two mortgage advocacy groups; NAMP and NVMBA - neither of which survived. In 2010, NAMP was reconstituted and began to reestablish its role, primarily as an educational organization. In 2014, NVMBA reestablished itself as well, primarily as an advocacy organization. The leadership of both organizations agreed that a single organization was a better fit for the needs of the industry in Nevada in the post-great recession world. On January 1, 2015, NAMP and NVMBA merged to form NMLA!!!

I am proud to serve as the Chairman of the Nevada Mortgage Lenders Association (NMLA), the premier mortgage organization in the state. Since 2014, I have put my focus on shaping the future of the mortgage industry and advocating for consumer interests, both of which I believe are crucial in ensuring the long-term success of the industry. At NMLA, our primary goal is to bring together professionals who are dedicated to serving the mortgage needs of our residents. Andrew Leavitt
As the President of the Board of Directors at N.M.L.A., I have been deeply involved with mortgage lending for over 14 years. My expertise in both information technology and mortgage lending, as well as my current position as CIO and VP at Pinnacle Lending Group, have made me uniquely suited to lead initiatives that benefit our community. One of my key responsibilities is overseeing our sales production, origination and operations, ensuring that we provide our clients with the best possible service.
