This policy covers NMLA's public website, membership-inquiry tools, account registration and authentication, and member portal. The website does not currently process online payments or publish a member directory.

When you create an account, sign in, or use an email link on this website, NMLA and its service providers receive the information needed to provide the requested service. This information may include your name, email address, title, work contact details, organization, account identifiers, and inquiry. NMLA uses it to authenticate users, administer access, review and respond to requests, and conduct related association business.

Do not send borrower Social Security numbers, loan files, or consumer financial information through this website or its email templates. Account access does not authorize the upload or disclosure of borrower information. Use an approved secure channel when sensitive information must be exchanged.

To ask about information associated with your account or communications, request a correction, or raise a privacy question, email president@nvmla.com with the subject “NMLA privacy request.” Include enough information for NMLA to identify the relevant account or communication. NMLA may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If NMLA materially changes this policy, the revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
